Touch Surgery Beta Feedback
Anastomoses
I really like how the average leak rate for various needles was included, it is great information to be aware of! The steps really highlighted the major components of the procedure and offered brief, but very informational material along the way.
Profile tab
Upon logging in on iOS app and heading to the profile tab, I am not seeing any account information other than my Touch Surgery email. It appears the account details and avatar/profile image are missing.
CPB and Sternotomy Phase 2
Hello there!
So I just did the all of the learning and a portion of the test to the CPB and Sternotomy (Phase 2). I really enjoyed learning it but still have a personal/internal struggle with the text at the bottom of the screen and having to select to read more, rather than be able to read it at the top in a smaller font or the bottom in a smaller font. It's just too big for me.🤦🏼♀️
However, during the test, the font and text placement was absolutely perfect! 🤓👍🏾
I also appreciate the amount of detail and time it has had to have taken to create these I'm impressed every time.
EVD - Neurosurgery
When doing the "Test" for the EVD procedure under neurosurgery, it would not move past the drilling phase. When you try to drag the drill, it goes back to the previous question. Made numerous attempts, but can't seem to get it to accept the movement.
Surgical Liver Anatomy
I can't see the variances in biliary, arterial, and venous supply. I believe they are key components to the learning portion of this segment and once again they are missing, one slide is included but missing information as it reads, "delete this text box." Please include these again, they make all the difference. This is so educational and has taught me a lot. To not include it would be such a loss.

New "waiting" format
This is a much better "waiting" format than the thumb print! Love the "..." less irritating and especially love the fact that I can't change my answer or go back.. Hernia anatomy did NOT disappoint!
Hi Jilian,
Thanks again! You're our feedback superstar!
We've forwarded your feedback onto our engineering team who'll be looking into this.
Keep it coming!

Swiping to progress is unclear
Just tried a simulation and was confused what to do until I realized you have to swipe to move on to the next prompt. Maybe add some sort of indication to prompt the user to swipe.
The app goes back to the loading in between steps in the breast reconstruction using a flap phase two.

Cannot change answer now
I put this under bugs but it's a combination of all 4 topics.
To begin, I noticed when I answered a question incorrectly today, that I couldn't change my answer. Once it was incorrect, that was it. Well done TouchSurgery!
However, I accidentally swiped back to to the previous slide and it let me correct my answer. 😑 I prefer the difficulty of not being able to change your answer in order to learn from it like the original app.
🤔As for an idea.. ☝🏾💡😃 I was thinking maybe on the iPhone, a smaller font or more visible text for each question. The drop down gets somewhat annoying and eventually I don't want to click it. It makes me get the sense of, "I'm going learn the answers to the questions, rather than the reason I'm selecting that answer."
You rock TouchSurgery!
Hey Jilian,
Once again a huge thank you for your feedback!
I have sent this over to our Engineering team who will be looking into this for you.
Have a great week!

Overviews
I absolutely LOVE the new way of looking at the overviews! I was always somewhat interested in reading them, but because the few I did read were pretty simple and had the images of the doctors who assisted in the procedure on the app, the format became boring.
However, today I decided to look at them for the Leg Fasciotomy and Lag Screw Fixation, and they are in no way, shape or form a paragraph with some doctors pictures. I was so surprised by what I saw!
The explanation and imaging to help visualize and understand the anatomy and reasoning behind the purpose and practice, as well as the techniques being used is incredible! I think it was an awesome idea to make the "overview" a selection under the procedure with multiple slides. It's so much more of an attention grabber. I know I can't be the only one who is more interested in selecting a button rather than just to see the beginning of a paragraph and have to scroll down. It just didn't interest me anymore. I may be an adult, but I still like some pictures in my reading. 😉🤗
Such a great change TouchSurgery!
